Lab hosts AFS Fern Foray @ Botany 2018

The Grusz Lab hosted the American Fern Society’s annual Fern Foray at Botany 2018 (Rochester, MN). We were delighted to offer two coinciding field trip options: an overnight (July 20–21) and a half-day trip (July 21).

UMN Duluth students provided support and supplies for the overnight adventure. We were also grateful to Minnesota DNR botanist Michael Lee for joining the foray and for sharing his knowledge of the regional fern flora.
